IOT2012 solicits original, unpublished work that is not under consideration elsewhere.  

With respect to prior publications, the following holds:

* Poster, demos, and technical reports do not count as prior published work

* Workshop publications count as prior published work only if they appear in an "archival" publication.

* Papers in published proceedings, book chapters, and journal articles do count as prior published work.

* Papers may contain no more than 25% of material from prior published work when it is required for explanation/background. The remainder of the paper must consist of new ideas, results, or guidelines, not simply filler information.
